P.U.R.R. West Virginia is always looking for volunteers to assist our organization in “Making the world more purr-fect” for cats and kittens.  P.U.R.R. West Virginia is a completely donation funded, volunteer run organization.  As such, we can always use help from cat-lovers like you!

Many people are not sure how they can help the cats and kittens.  We have a lot of possibilities for volunteers of all ages!  For example, our volunteers:

Feed and water our residents

Clean the various rooms

Scoop litter boxes

Assist with paperwork and documentation

Help socialize the cats and kittens by spending time and playing with them

Assist in building and renovating new sections of the shelter

Help at adoption events

Make baked goods for fundraisers

Assist in rescuing cats and kittens

Write grants

Brainstorm and suggest new ways to publicize and promote our organization and its goals
